So just watched a 4wdAction video where they modded a 200 series Land Cruiser. In the video they talked about the CV angles on a lifted IFS suspension, which the remeded with diff lowering blocks I've found lots of posts that address the rear pinion angle. Is this an issue on the X?

Really only once you get above 4" or so of lift. They'll bind. That's when a drop bracket ($$$$) comes into play.

That's primarily a Toyota issue. The Nissan CVs will handle about any lift combination up to 3" with ease depending on how your suspension is setup to droop/compress.

That and control arm travel are why 2nd Gen lift kits stop at 2.5" and jump strait to 5" with the drop bracket system.
