Work bought a fancy piece of equipment to help the folks working in the foundry who need to lift, bend, and reach while holding heavy objects.

It cost $65,000.

What in the actual ufck, that is ufcking ridiculous. 50lbs is damn near the minimum weight of the parts that I move for work. And most of that stuff I have to carry up ladders to install. Some of the motors and spring assemblies are over 150lbs a piece and 14'-18' up a ufcking extension ladder.

The parts we bought this for are usually about 75lbs, but they're very delicate and they have to be dipped into a slurry tank; so the guys have to bend and reach to about shin-height with the part.
