After seeing your vid, you might just need to do the "difficult" trails at WENT. Well, maybe stay in the intermediate expert for the first day to get a feel for the type of trails. Unlike Moab, traction can be an issue
...again - can't wait to see it.

Im signed for all the expert stuff with Luke. I would say the trail I did Sunday was easily WAY more extreme than anything I have wheeled in moab for sure. Very little traction on the round river rocks

Ok, good. I thought you signed up for some of the intermediate expert trails. You will have a blast with those guys. Dave asked me why I wasn't on the difficult trails one year. I'm just not quite ready for the greater chance of body damage yet. Maybe in a year or so. I might do some more to the red X.

This was all Camp 5 road... except a trail called Hal Johns. Basically the extreme version. Theres a creek that crosses the road in sections and we wheeled the entire creekbed. Its right outside Deadwood,SD
I didn't know Deadwood had wheeling like that! Imma have to drive up there and check it out. Gives me a better reason to visit family in Belle.

Hell yeah! Theres actually some REALLY big stuff around that area. Theyre actually doing whats called “24hours in Purgatory” this weekend which is all the hardest trails in 24hours. Its a no trailer no chase event so you have to be completely self sustained.

Question. How come you have a giant 4x4parts decal on your back glass and no giant XN decal?

I have a few XN stuffs on my rig, none are all that big though. That 4x4parts banner has been a surviver though, its lasted 4.5 years now. I have been thinking of stripping it off along with a few others and making room

over the weekend I worked on getting the rear shocks remounted on the new triangulated setup. Im not 100% happy with how it turned out but Im hoping a set of leafs with an AAL gets me lifted enough to really make use.

Looks great!

Why the different rear shock set up?

You plan to leave the bottom load leaf on your set up?

Why did you decide not to go “spring over”?

Thanks, like I said, looks great!

Shocks- basically with my kings they are a 10” and not the factory 8”. This last trip out a ripped the passender side mount off the frame and the driver side almost completely broke off. Triangulating gave me more shaft and also better protected them.

Overload- honestly didnt even think to remove it, still might in the future.

Soa- simply, I dont want more height. Truck is already tippy as is and going soa would have made thaf far worse.

This last weekend was a lot of me trying to scramble to get things fixed and prepped.

Redid my rear diff breather hose as the one I did 4 years ago was dry rotting and stiff from exhaust hitting it.
I cleaned and regreased a set of hubs that was given to me after grenading a mile marker.
Installed new power steering pump only to find my pressure line is seeping and the low pressure line from the res is leaking pretty bad, I will need to order new lines hopefully before went.
I fixed my headlights and installed new 5500K HID bulbs with new upgraded ballasts
I painted up my spare center trim for my radio bezel in my "Penquin Camo"
