Random thought of the night.... I think Im finally gonna try my hand at making a radiator shroud for the R34 radiator. Im curious to see how it manages the temps this summer

Project today was to install the ARB locker and the Revolution Gear 5.13s took longer than it should have but got everything in and a nice pattern set.

Having a hard time uploading pics... I keep getting a “file size is to large for server to process” message...

Anyways, everything is closed up and working. Put fresh 75-90 Mobil 1 in the front and tested locker. Left the compressor and locker switch on for an hour and the compressor only kicked on twice for a split second in that time. Now I need a DS...

Talked to RR yesterday. Front T-case flange is at machinist and should be shipped this week. Need to go check on my skid pate and see if that got cut out yet.

Currently working on making a custom fan shroud to fit the R34 Radiator setup in my rig. Hopefully be able to better manage those 170-180* temps during slow moving trails or traffic. I have a little fitment issue to deal with yet, but it is close. Probably 1-2 more nights and should have it fitting nicely. Then on to making it from aluminum!9D72FC26-CAC5-4FC5-B660-444C23950FB5.jpeg64EA8E8F-D919-4B4A-B631-E11BB395762E.jpeg28A75531-CB0C-4476-8790-E32235348EC0.jpeg0EC2466F-5D30-4076-ABB0-85C01A808BA4.jpeg

Installed some Hella Supertones today. My stock horn was BARELY working so I decided it was time to replace it. These are much louder! More than likely gonna pull the covers and paint them blue.

Decided I needed to probably clean my throttle body. If you look at the intake manifold you can see how much buildup there was. I scrubbed most of the IM I could reach and really scrubbed the TB. Currently have high idle but unpluged battery and letting the ece reset. Hopefully fixing alot of my idle and response issues.CDCCD2E4-BDC3-49AB-A816-6460085B55F5.jpegD451527D-7614-46BC-886F-3B8BCF94B4E9.jpegD66EED2E-44A7-479E-A4F2-9D9CC172465A.jpeg

Currently chasing a high idle issue after cleaning TB, readjusted the TPS and played with idle air screw. Timing seems to be at 3* btdc so thats not right either... truck runs and drives fine though

Is that maxed in the front? Looks like you have room for 3"-4" more up travel. Or is that leaving room for bigger tires.

I have 35s on the way in the next week or two, should fill some of that gap up. The front up travel is pretty much limited out by the coilover.

Small update. Driveshaft is in and hooked up. Tested 4wd and locker and everything is working great. Hopefully have my 35s on this weekend and planning to go do a shakedown of everything on Sunday.

I started a new job so my schedule is a but screwy working 6/12s but that just means alot more mod money

Holy shiat! Costant 72hr work weeks? The ufck?

I got on with a company that does alot of work for big name oil field companies and they recruited me as they are very short manned and 3 weeks behind. In 2 days I helped the shop im in get 1 week worth of backlog out the door and some kickback from QC fixed. So far WAY better business than where I was and damn is the pay good! Still have 4 more days this week so HOPEFULLY we can be full caught up by saturday. Like I told them, keep metal in front of me and my face under a helmet and I will go until work is done. So far Ive held up my end

Tomorrow is the first official test of the SAS! Running Hal Johns in Black Hills, South Dakota. Youtube shows it to be a pretty rocky creekbottom with a couple waterfalls and technical spots. Should figure out weak spots pretty quick
