Long time no see, you filthy animals. The time came and passed yesterday for me to move on from my beloved ol' gal. I told myself I wouldn't emotional when I handed the keys over, but I couldn't help but remember all the hours spent fixing it up and all the good times and hairy situations I got into. I sold her in favor of getting the wife a new vehicle. We decided to not go with another Nissan for the time being, but maybe in the future, our paths will cross again.

With that being said, I have a few spare parts and goodies that I will be selling in the classifieds on here in the next few days. Fairly desirable objects that I never got around to installing from being busy with buying and building a house and all the fun stuff that goes with that. I would even be willing to let it all go in a bundle package for a really good price too, if the desire was there.

Additionally, I will be back on here more when Fantasy Football season comes around to see if there is any interest in continuing the league. If not, I will gladly pass along the league ownership to a moderator or admin that will hopefully carry on the torch.

Glad to hear from you, sir. You should come by the whore thread and hang out every once in a while. You may have sold your truck, but you're still one of us.

You and Church can have your own little "I don't own an X anymore" club. Heh.

Good to see you too sir. I'm glad Church sold his, I know he was trying to for a while. I will certainly stop by the whore thread and catch up with the old whores. I do miss those days lol.

I really should've come on here first to try and sell her, but I got caught up in wanting to get rid of her quick. I guarantee your offer would've been better than what I took too.

I won't be a stranger. I needed to take a break for life stuff, but I'm in a good place now. I'll be seeing you guys more

So after going through my stuff, I have the following items for sale:

-SkidRow Transmission/Transfer case skid plate, used condition, with BRAND NEW never installed hardware
-Pair of 1.5 gen foglights WITH LED bulbs already installed, ready to be installed as a whole housing into your bumper. I really wanted to put these in but I never got around to it
-Raingler original style barrier net with a tactical gear pouch included with purchase. It was able to hold a 20 piece socket set or could be filled with first aid supplies
-Revolver shackles, used condition, with BRAND NEW never installed hardware
-Roof basket in excellent condition
-Sunroof OEM cover in excellent condition
-2 custom made low-profile wooden gear drawer cabinets that were cut for a cargo area with the Rockford Fosgate sub. All that's missing is drawers for you to install and a finishing exterior of your choice (painted in a sealing white primer already) and you have an excellent, locking, low profile cargo storing option
-4x4Parts rear brake line, braided stainless steel extended length for lifts for dat droop

I understand some of these are bulky and heavy, and I know first hand that shipping the skid plate from one side of the country to the other is about $75. I didn't list prices because I am open to all reasonable offers, and want to see these parts go to a good home and a caring owner. I know generally what they are worth and what I paid for them, so please don't lowball too much. If someone is awesome enough to buy all of the items, I'll give you an insane deal. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico but can deliver to any surrounding state for a reasonable gas allowance fee.

I'll put up pictures in a few days, after I get back from an out of town trip.

Got my dream car after searching for a little while. It's still 4x4 and forced induction, but that's all it has in common with my old Xterra...

It's a 2012 Subaru WRX STI. Been a dream to own one since they first came over to America in 2005; I even had a poster in my room back in high school. I found this one for sale and I couldn't pass it up. It already had some go fast goodies installed, but it was a very well taken care of car and in excellent condition.

Also, my old Xterra was sold pretty quick by the dealership I sold it to. They initially wanted $8995 but after sitting for a couple weeks, they dropped it to $6995 and it sold the next day. I still think someone got a hell of a deal, and if I ever see it around, I'd love to tell the new owner everything that went into it.

You just bought what I have been eyeballing for a few weeks

I have been wanting an STI since 2004, but really (seriously looking at) wanting a fast wagon for the past few years. The stars all perfectly aligned with this one, and I couldn't pass it up. The guy who had it before me put in about $5k worth of mods, so it already has the things I would have wanted to do in the first couple of years

Audi RS6 Avant for the sports wagon for sure. If only it was sold is America and I had the money to buy it. Simply the best. Nice looking Sti. I sold my 2006 Aspen White Sti before I got my Xterra. What mods are on it?

Well if we are talking about fast wagons, I'll take a CTS-V Wagon, thanks. Yowzerz

Well yeah, that would be the ultimate dream speed wagon for sure. Those are down right sexy. Some dude who lives about 4 minutes away from me has the traditional sedan model with the license plate "BELTFED". Needless to say, it was already supercharged from the factory, but this sumbitch puts down 870 WHP. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, that RS6 Avant is pure sex. Probably out of my price range for a long time, even if they ever decide to bring it here. I had my eye on getting a V70R for a while, but it was hard to find a clean 2nd gen one and the general cost of ownership I hear is fairly expensive.

As for my STI, it has a full Invidia turbo-back exhaust, Cobb SF intake w/ their intake box, Cobb Accessport V3 with a custom tune from the best local tuning guy, Cobb short throw shifter, full lip kit on the sides and front, upgraded clutch bracket for the firewall weld issue, JDM-esque HID upgrade and rear taillights, LED fog light swap, Tial BOV, mud flaps, and a Thule roof rack. I think that's about it.

On order are a PTP lava turbo blanket and an IAG comp AOS. My intake temps down here in Albuquerque get way too high from the heat soak. I also want to heat wrap my downpipe and slap some thermal tape on the sides of the intercooler, but I'll have to find someone with small hands to do the downpipe for me lol

I would strongly suggest to remove the downpipe when you decide to wrap it. The first time taking it off is a learning expirience but after that it is really easy. I had to swap my catless down pipe a couple times for smog is California and got used to it. The quality of the wrap will also be dependent on whether you remove the down pipe or not. By far the best upgrade I had was the steering rack bushing from Whiteline. The feel of the steering wheel was amazing after that. The slightest turn of the wheel and the car was moving. The cheapest mod also. I would've loved to keep the Sti but a 2006 with 110,000 miles selling for $19,000 is too hard to pass up seeing as it was bought for 19,500 with 65,000 miles. Crazy!!!

It's really awesome how well they hold their value. I'm definitely loving that aspect of ownership.

I also heard that about the downpipe. With winter coming up, I'll probably hold off on doing it until the spring time since I'm saving some money for the AOS. Also from some research I've been reading that the steering rack completely fails on the 08-14's and commonly gets swapped for one from a '15. Longevity seems to vary among owners, but some people have theirs go out at 30k while others are at 100k+ with no issues. Maybe I'll wait and see what happens with mine, but I'll certainly keep your suggestion in mind!

Once I get the heat soak issue under control and the AOS bought and installed, I'll have much more peace of mind. After that, I'll look into a FMIC.
