Hey guys, for those of you who have ran the Calmini SAS kit what is the longest CO you guys have successful ran? I had 2.5 14" and they are way too much lift with little downward movement. I'm thinking of going down to a 2.0 12" or the recommended 2.0 10"

I'm running a 2.0 10". Check prices with Downsouth motor sports. They had the best prices when I bought

Get some 10"ers and you'll still get a good amount of flex. Glad to see another SAS in Cali. We should hook up and do a SAS only ride. Lol

Ahhh yes...this... Yes I did get the new coilovers. Got them in and everything buttoned up. Ran into a fee problems but nothing a cutting wheel couldn't solve.

Sitting a bit in the prerunner style until I can get the rest ever SOAed.

Nice!!! I like it. I had that same prerunner stance for awhile too. I kept my spring under and just added a bunch of AAL until I say level. I plan to eventually go SOA but until I do the AAL will hold me over.

The rear is now in and sitting with a bit of rake now. I'll have to adjust the preload on the front coilovers but it should finally be set up right.

For those of you running the Calmini SAS kit without the front sway bar, have your flexed the front enough where the springs become unseated from the coilovers? When I had mine on a lift up in the air the coilovers extended all the way out and the springs had no tension on them. When putting the vehicle back on the ground I had to re-align the springs on the coilovers by hand. My concern with removing the sway bar is that the front will flex a lot and unseat the springs from the coilover and break when the weight of the vehicle comes back down and it isn't aligned.

I have it set to where it gives me enough up travel before it hits the bump stops. At this setting it had enough tension on the coils so they don't pop out.

When I had my stock front bumper I had 300lbs springs top and bottom. The ride was good. Then when I got the big heavy shrock with winch the 300lbs on the bottom wasn't enough. It swayed a lot more and what not. I got the 350lbs and it feels good again.

The rough road ride isn't bad at all. Not too soft or too hard.

Were you 300/300 and then went 300/350? Mainly what Im asking is did it feel like sitting on a park bench thrown off a cliff? Ive got a bad back and gravel roads are the death of me.

Yep. I started with 300/300 then when I got my bumper it was too soft and wobbly. Then I went 300/350 and it's a good ride. You won't feel like riding on a park bench. I can ride in my xterra all day and I have a bad back as well.

By chance, do you know what your valving is? Im looking at the King Coilovers, but not sure if I should just do normal street valving, or if I should opt for different valving

So I ended up with 300/300 8" & 12" with 10" travel coilovers... I have the coilovers pretty much maxed out and I feel with the shrock bumper the springs are too soft would the 50lbs make a difference? Also thinking about going with longer springs. I need opinions.
