in my other league last week:

me: we should sit Ted Ginn Jr...he drops so many balls and Atlanta has a good secondary per the Yahoo App...

my wife: ...but Cam always throws long balls to him...sit Calvin Johnson and put in Ted Ginn.

me: no we have to play Calvin Johnson, he's the best receiver we have

Results: Calvin Johnson 2.6 points. Ted Ginn Jr: 26.50 points.

I'm still bitter that my wife insisted I get Zac Stacy last year as a top draft pick.

The last few weeks of fantasy are so fvcking cerebral for me. I nitpick every possible scenario down to weather conditions, if the team still has something to play for, grudge matchups, and things like that.

Sure, the consensus agrees with my line of thinking that AP will have a great game; he's ranked #1 RB on many sites. Looking past that though, he had a mediocre game against Arizona where he was angry about getting so few touches the previous week against Seattle. This week, the Vikings know the bears very well, AP is pissed, and the Vikings have something to play for. My bold projection... AP will have 32 points. And I need that to happen.

My biggest stud question mark will be AJ Green. With a different QB under center, it's hard to project what the game flow will be. The new QB though is a gun slinging risk taker, who clearly favors Green as a safe option to pass to. From a PPR standpoint, I think Green will have a great game with some deep looks that go for completions as well.

All hail your new king of the XN league!!!

I set out with one goal at the end of last year, and that was to at least make it into the championship bracket this time around. I didn't think I'd win the the whole thing with how well a couple other teams were looking.

Now I can stop neurotically checking my phone or laptop every game day, much to my wife's happiness lol

Thanks Mac! I was determined to not be short on RB's this year like I was last year, and ironically enough I seemed to have a problem finding WR's down the stretch. I'm going to have a hard time picking my keepers that's for sure.

How did you do in your other league(s)?

I'm thinking we'll take a vote to see if we want to continue doing keepers. I am not 100% sold on it for this league.

I won my home league but lost in the first round of all of my playoffs other than that. I had a terrible week 15.

I've heard about this, but no. Defense is cool and all, but all my brain programming, as I'm sure most everyone's else, is set on offensive players and more of a traditional set of rules
I've never done it but it seems like fun. It's a way to keep people more involved

More options with IDP, but I say we keep it simple. I liked the idea of keepers, and I have a couple in mind already for next year. (my whole WR team). It was kinda hard coming in with someone else's team though.

I like the keeper.. It makes you plan your next year out.. Which is how I set up my team up this year in hopes next would be my year.. (Got lucky this year)

Alright everyone, sorry for the delay on winnings payouts. I had a weather issue followed by a vacation issue. Everyone should have received their winnings if they placed 1-5th. Congrats everyone!
