1 - be prepared to see my taint.
2 - I'll be there for the 4th year in a row
3 - I'll be in a kilt for Elephant Hill. Because I'm all kinds of secksie.

Also, for any interested, I'm hosting the World's Most Disorganized Cook-out at Canyonlands Monday. Again. Show up around 7. Coals will be hot (probably). Drinks will be had (definitely). Food will be consumed (if nothing else, by me. Because Bison). Always good times.

The Sunday activities are all at the condo. Monday night is the World's Most Disorganized Cookout. Site G1. Probably around 7pm for the coals to be ready. Bring whatever you want to eat.

That won't be the only night of cooking out. I'll probably cook out Saturday night when I arrive and a few others as well. Because grilling is better than restaurants. Elephant Hill night is Moab Brewery night, though.

I think this may be the second year for this; Nissan sponsored a pizza night at the pizza/Itallian place in Moab last year. I think they sent a few Execs to attend the first couple of days.

Cool to see the big boys representin'.

I believe this is the third year they've done this, maybe the 4th. I can't remember if it happened my first year, but definitely the second and third.

In roughly 48 hours I should be starting the final things to leave. I'm basically packed right now - I just need to load up food, electronics, and a few personal items. Once that's done, bolt on the RTT and hit the road.

Wednesday morning starts the trip for me.

Nissan missed in 2012, but was there in '09, '10, and '11. Not sure about previous GONE's. Sounds like a different group from Nissan this year, more of a regional corporate presence. I really liked the marketing guys Chris and Dan from '13. They brought hats. :)

I need to get my wheels balanced, an alignment, and then take it into body shop for inspection to make sure no bad surprises from recent fender bender. Then pack it up and head out on Monday

You were all awesome...Joe too.

Going to miss seeing all of the XN crew...and wishing Daph and I were there to just "hang out" this year without all the other
"important" stuff that took up our time last year.

Have fun...be safe...and toast a little skullie for those of us absent and envious red rock enthusiasts.

Front and rear diffs are disassembled and spread out on the garage floor... how's that for down to the wire?

The 5.14 gears and ARBs are assembled, I just have to set up the gears and get the diffs back in the truck. Five hours of break in driving on Saturday and five more on Sunday and I should be good to go for a Monday morning departure.

Yikes!

So on Monday morning I'll have to pack up the truck and hit the store, that's it. I hope. Late morning (gentleman's) departure?

I was hoping for a noon(ish) departure. I'm planning on loading the truck the night before, work Monday morning, then head over to your place around lunchtime.

cool. I'd like to get there at a reasonable time, since I'll have some errands to run, and maybe a skid plate to attach, when we get there. 11 am works.
