That black cherry effin vodka is killer.

I like basically all of them. The vanilla flavored stuff is a little weird tbh, otherwise I'll try any of the others.

I do love a good Shine, too. My buddy makes some for me. Love that Apple Pie flavor and he recently made a Blue razberry. Reminded me of those Dum Dum lollipop's but with a wicked kick on it, haha. All 190 Proof of it.

Jameson is best served with a shot glass and a cheersy clink. Close second is with gingerale and ice.

a shot of it is not bad but i always feel like im missing something. i just really really really really really really really love car bombs. there is a bar back home that has them on special on saturdays for $3!

I frequently enjoy Buffalo Trace. Probably will more now since Maker's is no longer American owned.

From Wikipedia:
Maker's Mark was sold to*Hiram Walker & Sons*in 1981, which sold it to distillery giant*Allied Domecqin 1987, which in turn sold it to*Deerfield, Illinois-based*Fortune Brands*in 2005.[1]*In 2011 Fortune Brands split; its drinks business became Beam Inc.

Sounds to me like it's American owned....

Although I saw the blurb about the Japanese holding company that offered to buy Beam Inc. But it doesn't seem to have happened. Yet.

It has happened, Wikipedia just hasn't been updated.

If you are a fan of bourbons, check out Four Roses. Goes great with a good cigar.

I agree, but I'm going to take it a step further and recommend Four Roses Single Barrel (Four Roses is also the only distillery with a Spanish Missionary architecture style) when lighting up a pipe or cigar. Also their spillway on Salt river is where we used to take our lady friends after dark in high school. The place is like four miles from my parents house.

Knob Creek is without a doubt my "session" bourbon. If I'm going fancy then I like 1792 Ridgemont Reserve. Pappy Van Winkle is popular and wicked expensive, but honestly I've had it a few times, and while really good, it just didn't zazz me. Hell when I shipment comes in, people line up outside the store for it. I like Buffalo Trace, but Eagle Rare (which belongs to Buffalo Trace) I think is a wee bit better.

Knob Creek and Ale-8 One (a Winchester) is great together, and I think Four Roses small batch is one of the best for making an Old Fashioned.

Since this is turning to a discussion of bourbon, which I love, I must bring forth Woodford Reserve.
