a little of both, i actually didnt end up cutting the metal bracket like i thought i was going to have to, it turned out it was hitting part of the switch, body on the back end only in 1 spot, modified that and all was well. Cutting the hole wasnt bad aside from using the dremel to cut it you know round cutter for a square hole...but the cut outs were the same size as my tape so measurements worked out pretty easy

Nice job! Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't you need two switch holes for your upcoming mod? Or have I been confused all this time thinking 2 were needed?

got a screaming deal with rebate so I pulled the trigger, I needed to do my ebrake pads/shoes so I figured id upgrade everything. I plan to write a how to, I took lots of photos so far on the fronts I think I got everything! rears are organized and ready to be installed just gotta get back out there after lunch.

Well it took the better part of the day taking my time but I changed all the brakes on the entire beast, new rotors, pads, and shoes, followed the brake in process and I'm done everything feels great!

Got my new tires mounted today really happy with how they look can't comment on handling yet it's only been a day!

Those powerstop brakes are amazing Joe... I just put that same set on. Just got back from a run through mojave (high speeds) and I didn't feel any brake fade or any variations in the brake feel. Even after the second day with water crossings and a 80 plus mph ru the across a dry lakebed!

Well everything went well on Friday at 4wheelparts in Reno, the wiring set up isn't exactly what I would have done it but it should work alright!

Awesome, bud. Looks like the inhabitants of the XN condo will all be locked this year. I am a little concerned how Sean's rig is going to perform this year... he still hasn't installed a snorkel.

I promise to bring only good Tequilla this year.

There's still time...although I might go with a shovel instead...

...but I'll probably spend the remaining prep time working on the chevy Malibu mod I made to the front bumper
