Did you know you can get paid for getting views on your youtube videos? I knew it could be done but never looked into it.
Heres my story.
Four or Five years ago I created a youtube account and uploaded my first video on me doing a shooting review of a airsoft sniper rifle I had. To this day that one video has 17,604 views...crazy huh?! Well youtube emailed me about a year ago telling me I was able for a partnership and could get paid for getting views, I just ignore it. Well today I finally went through and "monetized" my videos that are getting lots of views.
To my understanding monetize means I allow youtube to place adds before and around my youtube video. Everytime someone clicks on one of the adds I get a share of it. Needless to say I should of done this along time ago! I watched a video about this kids story, he made a video and got 35,000 views and made about $250 off the thing!
Im wondering if anyone else does this? If so please tell me more about this because I'm still in the learning process.
