You want to adopt a 43 year old?

My first son still has a 96 cobra I had, I should have kept it myself cause it was in near perfect condition except for normal wear on the leather, now it has scratches everywhere and a couple of dents and he dropped it to look kool but it is just not the car it once was.

I will not be doing the same thing for my next 2 kids, they will get something more economic...and they already know this.

I dont have a picture of my 1st car was a little saturn 4 door car (35 mpg)

Then came a 2000 Toyota tacoma single cab 4x4 5 speed with an arb bumper

This truck had severe rust issues, which the car lot done an extremely good job of hiding with undercoating. The manage to make a softball sized hole in the frame look solid. Dummy me only checked the the frame to the back of the cab and the obvious places those trucks usually rust.
All total I payed $7500 for the truck, after taxes and some body work on the top of the cab, I had $8500 in the truck. Thanks to a very generous buy back program from toyota I got a check for $10,400 and then the search for the next began.

Then came the current x got it mid way though my senior year of high school

Then I picked up this pos jeep for a grand (who lifts a 2wd)
pulled the valueable parts and then crushed it

Sold this bad boy to get my X. Very happy I did! Wish I could have kept both though.

In regards to my who lifts a 2wd, I can see doing it if it actual goes good in 2wd, now that jeep cherokee didnt go worth anything. 1st day I had it the thing got stuck in something my x makes in 2wd no problem. Score 1 for the xterra lol dang do I hate jeeps :D No worries though came to my senses and took that jeep to the crusher after pulling the parts I wanted of course

Someday I will get back to restoring this thing. Until then it is just taking up space in my garage.

And I had an FJ55 that I restored and then sold about 17 years ago. I tremendously regret selling it. Here's some before and after picts:
