Y'all know what time it is. And we can kid ourselves about losing weight and going to faraway places and being better people, but we all know that what you commit to your X will happen to your X :bmmd:

For the year 2013, I resolve the following for my X:
-I will save for and buy five (5) new Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, in 265/70/17
-I will add LED rock lights/turn signals to my mirrors, as well as additional turn signals to the rear bumper corners
-I will fix that paint chip above my rear driver window, it already rusted holy cow why haven't I don't anything about it my truck is only two years old.
-I will replace my rear bumper bolts with actual Grade 8s (or 10.9s, as they are in metric)
-I will remove the drill bit that is fastening the back corner of my engine skid and replace it with a bolt
-I will design a tire carrier to go on top of my BoonDox recovery points
-I will put more than 10k on the odometer

And for y'all, I will be hosting more group welding classes and keeping the Achievements thread updated :bmmd:

Happy New Year!

I resolve to build at least one bumper for my X, the front, with a winch plate to fit my MX8000, and make it look good. Hell, it's for me, so the design alone will take me a couple of weeks in Solidworks.

I also resolve to Plati Dip the whole thing flat black and finally make myself an Umbrella Corp S.T.A.R. response vehicle. It's just something I've always wanted to do and hey, I can always peel it off if my wife is really complaining about it. :tears:

I need to get 4 new tires for it, and since I get a deal through work on tires, that will happen, but it's not a resolve, it's a necessity. Otherwise I'm sitting on the side of the road with 4 bald-butt BFG KM/2s in a rain storm. That ain't happenin'!

I do resolve to be more diligent on my maintenance. These tires may have lasted longer than 40k miles if I had rotated them more. My wife was driving the truck previous to me having my chance with it, so I'll blame her. :kewl:

Not to derail this thread but I thought you sold it since you parted it out???

My goals:

- Install all the remaining LED bars I have
- Add couple more rock lights
- Add air tank somewhere in the X without removing the spare and NOT inside the X also too.
- Skids
- Will have to upgrade tires soon at some point :(

Yeah, that didn't work out so well. We were told that parting it out wouldn't drop the trade-in value but for about $500. So that's what we did.

But when we went to trade it, they decided differently, offering almost $6k less! So we're keeping it, probably until the wheels fall off. But it's my ride now, the wife is in a '97 Outback, I can't hardly peel her out of it, so I'm good with this arrangement.

I resolve to having my SAS completed by mid Feb and that I'll make it out GONE this year. And replacing all the bulbs with LEDs. And maybe getting a rear bumper with tire carrier. And maybe maybe swapping out cams from a VG30. And maybe maybe maybe building a couple skids.

I want to level the lift and rear bumper. Both money and time dependant. I need (well really just want) to replace the front suspension. When I say replace I mean upgrade.. duh
