Thanks! It is slowly coming together. I'm definitely getting some MT's, I'm not sure on the brand yet but I am shopping around. Leaning toward the KM2's about 12.5 or 13.5" wide to get the desired stance.

What color is your X called? I rarely see it around. I like it! Oh, and the BL makes it look more hirsute-type manly, but in a good way! :p

Yeah, its Mineral Blue. I have only seen 1 other in person, snowchaser's (I believe he sold his) and one on youtube. They only made 2000 of them and only in 2001. I like the color, I get a lot of compliments.

An oil change is always good, though you can do it less often with synthetics. I can safely go to 6000 miles on an oil change in my X on synthetics, and that is checking the oil regularly for consistency/color/level. Before, I would change it religiously at 3000 miles and it would look terrible.

Yup mine was pretty dark brown/black. I had 3,200 miles on it...5w-30. Here soon I might switch to there synthetic that says its for 225,000 mile engines

Nice addition coatimundi01, those ladders really come in handy. Oh, and I see Pleepleus, everyone drink!

Thanks! And yes, everybody drink! Surprisingly, it's not a lot of people that recognize the pleepleus... I got it at one of Zane's live shows right before the Drinking Made Easy gig started and they would do live shows in the areas they were filming the first episodes. I'm in dire need of a new sticker though...

Nice catch I didn't notice it at first. I will say from first hand experience the Good Burp game or Shultz in Germany is an awesome game to play in bar full of drunk people especially drunk Germans.

Your profile doesn't say what year you have, but all you should need is a 10mm and a #2 phillips. Drain it, undo a couple of hoses and bolts and it lifts right out.

So I went for the muffler delete tonight but due to me having stone age tools(hacksaw) it didn't go the way I wanted it. I cut through the tail pipe but my cuts didn't join so tomorrow I'm going to run to a muffler shop and have them cut it off within minutes.
This is what came out upon cold start up...
ac1d4aa4.jpg

about the size of a cereal bowl. once I drove 4 miles and came back there wasn't any more drip-page.

~~~More like a slit in the exhaust pipe~~~ majority of fumes still come out the tail pipe end.
Organized my cargo area a bit more. I scored a bunch of these plastic bins for free from work, they were just going to throw them out so I took a dozen or so of them.
They hold all my bungees, rope, straps, etc.
They also stack, and fit perfectly into my mortar tins!
They also hold my fluids nicely.
I also took advantage of the warmer temperatures to finally get around to showing some XN love! :D
And yes, I'm going to address that rust spot in the springtime.
Sent to you from my very own piece of East Coast paradise.
I parked it here:
Then proceeded to take this out and show the salesman what it really could do:
Used 2WD, 4hi and lo and even got to use the locker. Guy did not even know what a locker was. I showed him an area he could take potential buyers to go out and play with an X. All in all, fun times.
Thats pretty cool! How did you get the chance to test drive a pro4x off road??
Today I got stranded in a parking lot for a hour while I had to have a lock smith cut me a new key because mine stopped working.
Oh and she got $52 worth of gas tonight... jeez
^Ooooo, so jealous! Someday I'll have an elocker...someday when hell freezes over or I meet my mack daddy, haha.
The local Nissan dealerships know who I am since I am basically the only modded X in the area. It helps that I am female, too, I think, hahaha!
The sales guy is new to X's, so I've basically taught him all he knows about them. I've done this at both dealerships in the valley now. Quite entertaining. I've yet to try it in a green or blue one. But once they are on the lot, look out! I'm gonna drive them!
I had to replace a busted transmission coolant line Friday and refilled the transmission with 5 qt's of tranny fluid. That would have been the only thing I did if my father-in-law wasn't so careless pulling it home. He pulled it too fast around a corner with my wife driving (no power brakes or power steering) then slowed down too late causing the chain to wrap around the driver side tire twice. It bent my tie rod adjuster and brake line, both had to be replaced along with an alignment. He doesn't see it as being his fault at all so I had to buy all the parts and didn't even get a "sorry."
