Added my Smittybilt 9500 Winch to the Shrock and added my 42" Auxbeam led bar up top.

Did you have to get new mounting hardware for the fairlead/bottom winch bolts?

Yea the bolts he had were like Grade 5 or something. I want Grade 8 for the strength but none of the shops open on weekends had any metric grade 8. The bolts from the fair lead were too short so we had to find some longer ones. Apparently his Jeep mount wasn't as thick as our Shrocks

It has everything to do w/ how the shrock mounts the winch. Since you bolt the bottom of the winch to the face of the bumper, which is 90 degrees from normal, nobody's hardware is going to work. We had to do the same on Rob's.

Yea we just so happen to find bolts in my buddies bolt drawer that worked with the square nuts that slide into the feet.

I used it to tension this old dyno while I was cutting it in half. Also added factory fog lights and switch, man what a difference that made!

I was thinking hid but I'm not sure I want to draw that much attention to myself on the road. Plus it kinda defeats the purpose of fog light

Stick to regular bulbs. I have the Phillips Crystal vision in my headlights going to do those in the fogs

Or get the full morimoto led fogs. Love mine. Brighter and much better output.

When you hit a puddle just right... then get stuck on the frame because the pass side went into a rut... but the bright side is... I got to use my winch for the first time lol Driver side tires were just spinning in some nasty muddy water and of course, slung it everywhere [IMG]

Lol! I'm telling ya. Too the same line as the guy in front of me and the whole pass side just slid right into it. Of course, it got hung up on the frame. Had to use my 9.5k winch plus my buddies 8k winch to get me out. Mostly due to soft ground all around us. Perfect time to get a snatch block.

I'm a believer that a snatch block should be purchase #1 after a winch.

Got a quick wash...broke my antenna off...that's gone. Had to order a new stud and antenna.

Vacuumed out the front carpets and waiting on the truck to cool down so I can do the oil.

I have a 73 mile one way commute and a 12 hr shift. When we get held over which is often it turns into an 18 hr shift pretty quick. Ive tried sleeping back there but the sun makes it miserable really quick so I made some shades
