Sometimes I go back and forth on that. I kind of miss my vest that went under the uniform. Made me feel a little less floppy since I do not wear a bra with it (waaaay too painful/uncomfortable). Once summer rolls around I'll be thankful for it since I can take it off when at the PD.

You clearly have not worn body armour with a sports bra. The vest presses the bra material into your skin so deeply that it is etched in there for hours and excessively painful. Therefore, it is easier to not wear one. A vest is supposed to be tight and supportive. Hence me not needing to wear the sports bra. Overkill. Painful overkill. Most women, aside from those with very large boobs, i.e. D+, tend to not wear a bra for those reasons.

This is true, I don't own my own boobs, so, no sports bra wearing for me...
But, none of my body armor was ever "tight"
It was just tight enough to not kill me when I took a 7.62x39mm round square to the chest...ugly bruise, but, ballistic plates saved my @'s.

Yeah everything was settled and all I just felt bad cause she was elderly. I was 16 at the time, had my license for 3 weeks and just slid the little feather jeep down a hill, brakes locked up and all...stupid pouring rain storm.
Moral of the story. Almost bald 33"s, a feather light wrangler and pouring rain isn't good to try and stop quickly in. Well not even stop normally. I slid forever.

The manufacturer of my armor seems to think the girls need some extra protection. First time I've had issued armor that was actually made for a female. It's very strange but once it's in the carrier, you can't tell.
