Funny i got switched to 2% kicking and screaming many years ago. Got used to it. Now whole milk tastes funny. 1% and below is unacceptable.

I used to be whole milk only, the wife moved us to 2% then down to skim. I wasn't happy about it but I acclimated to each change. When she was pregnant, the Dr. said she had to drink at least 2% again so we moved back to that. After the kid was born, I expected to go back to skim, nope, she couldn't do it. She said the skim was just too watery, same thing I said when she first switched us, LOL. Of course we switched to organic years ago.

I secretly feel terrible for my truck when I get stuck in the mud or race it at the strip like tonight. That sounds really stupid but...oh well I don't know where I'm going with this.

I have many projects waiting to be done in the garage; heated mirrors, trailer wiring, sliders that need to be repainted and mounted. Edit *Forgot Cam bolts.*
My boys take all my time therefore nothing gets done to the X, except oil changes.
My wife hates it when I'm on here at home. She thinks my Xterra friends aren't real. She is wrong.
I only loved my Porsche 944 more than my X. Sadly it got totaled by a teenager.
Trading the Pathfinder for the X made me feel like I got a real truck and not a mommy mobile.
I love how my boys always want to take the X when we go somewhere.
I just wasted an hour and a half at work reading stuff on the board.
I research too much when buying things. Therefore I don't buy much.

Yes you are, and a nice person always willing to help a friend in need.

I had forgotten an LED strip for under the hood(bonnet for you classy people). See so many things and no time. I might have some time to myself next week to get the mirrors done and hopefully get the sliders at least refinished.

Awe geez you're too kind my friend! :)

Ya know.. you have plenty of us Jersey Folk that would be willing to help you bang all those projects out in a single day/weekend. :)

Being an only child, I got use to doing things alone. NOW I get really frustrated when I have to wait on others when I'm ready to do something.

Holy bajeebus.. That's exactly how I feel. As an only child I did everything myself, so sometimes I get mad when others help.. I was not a good sharing child, everything that was mine, was mine. Which results in me having and maintaining nice things.. Aka over 25 pairs of shoes. 3 grand in snowboarding equipment and another grand in audio equipment. If I can buy it, I'm going to have the best. I share better now as an adult, but only a rare few have ever driven the X. That's my baby

I agree with tucker on the last part. Me and my dad are the only ones who have ever driven my Xterra. I really have to trust you to even let you sit behind the wheel while is in park :)

Well besides the guys at the shop...who freaking lead foot my truck when they have it. Side note: Had half a tank of gas, took it in for radiator swap...got it back with 10 miles added to the odometer and the needle was a good bit below half.

You'll get over that.

I really hope not. Been together for almost 12 years. Married for 9. We are the kind of folks that don't argue or yell or fight. We just get along. If we do have a problem we just talk it out. I know it sounds cliche or sappy but we are in love and love is all you need.

* I'm pretty sure that fantasy football has taken over my Xterra as my number one obsession.

* If I pull off an unlikely comeback it will mean my luck has changed significantly and I will be betting the winning money on the superbowl to ride the hypothetical good luck. And I'll also be buying lotto tickets lol.

* I'm pretty sure my son knows that sex creates siblings and therefore has proceeded to cry any time I touch my wife....

*I said before that I don't let anyone drive my truck.. But this weekend Nathan wheeled my truck for a short section of 22, weirdly enough I trusted him more than I expected. I guess that is because he has a bad A rig.. but I guess that makes 3 people who I will let drive my truck. Actually, I trust a good amount of people that were on the trails with us wheeling.

Hahaha, I hear that man. If Gus catches me giving Allisonn a hug when she gets home from work, he comes running over screaming "No, no no nooo!" and wedges himself between us and makes her hug him. He likes the family group hugs, but not the mommy-daddy-only hugs. Pretty funny.

I really enjoy not working since Sept 5th. Yes being out bc of knee surgery sucks but not dealing with the drama of the office is awesome. I kinda don't want to go back. lol

Being a civil servant is a very trying career. Especially when your job is dealing with "Teh Stupid" 95% of the time.

I learned this week that I have a fairly righteous sense of right and wrong, but am fairly good at holding my comments back, haha.

I love bubble gum. Especially watermelon flavoured bubble gum.

mmmm I wish someone made alcoholic bubble gum in watermelon flavor.

So I GUESS I'm in now that I've found this thread and started to reply..... so I'll play nicely.

*I love working on my truck, but I am not a know-it-all. If I have absolutely no clue, then I probably won't mess with it. I'd rather not dig a hole that I can't get out of for my DD.
*I had an ex- (yes, dude) who absolutely loved the Twilight movies and compared himself to the characters all the darn time.
*I cried like a HUGE baby when my truck broke down in July. I had a gut feeling the whole time that something was going to happen.
The cool stuff:
*My best friend from high school races in the Nationwide series.
*My 3rd cousin was the head coach of Marshall University football (after the plane crash) - Bobby Pruitt.

That's all for now.

A friend was the first non family member to ever drive my truck last week, he had to I was in no condition to drive after KG & natty light got to me.

I like the idea of working on my truck but most of the time it pisses me off lol. That goes for repairs. Now if I'm modding I'm excited.

After spending 6 hours replacing the extension housing seal in my tranny it still seems to be leaking.

Due to that ill be looking for a diesel truck or NICE jeep once my job follows through.

I know people scowled after that ^^ line.

According to the song I'm listing to right now "I'm hard to love"

Im just rambling so I'm going to post this now.

Oh and college will make you gain weight one way or another.

He sounds like a chick, so you get a pass there.

Starting to not like my current job. No challenges, no excitement. My side gig is awesome right now, but I doubt that it'll lead to anything.

I don't know man.. I lost weight last year. I walked everywhere, and went to the gym like once a week. Sure my school is in the mountains, and sure it is full of hills, but it isn't too hard to lose weight.

BUT

It is much easier to gain it.. I would agree

He's the one from Wooster, OH, right? I went to the College of Wooster (obviously much later in time), but kind of funny.

I just got my medical bills in the mail from having meningitis this/last month. Holy balls! I am NEVER going the hospital of my own free will EVER again. And that's with a good insurance carrier. Sheesh. I feel like my bank account will be raped from now until, well, a long time from now. Holistic and Western medicine, here I come!

^^^ I'm with ya! My MRI alone is costing me over $900 and that's after insurance. I don't want to see what the actual surgery bill is going to run me :(

Well over $5000 was paid for Mrs. Muadeeb's C-Section for Squid MK2. I lost count after the flex spending ran out.
