I am working on replacing the spark plugs in my 2002, and the 3rd one the part where the socket goes is round, I think they were over tightened and never changed. How would I go about removing this one? and how the hell do you remove 6?

Voodoo. And lots of cussing.

I ended up taking my 1st gen to the dealer to do the plugs. I couldn't get it. 6 is next to impossible without a body lift and only a tiny bit better with it. Most times you have r to take off the hood and lay across the back of the engine to get it.

So far I've had quite a bit of cussing haha. is it hard to take off the hood? At this point I wish I went to a dealer because I cracked the intake for my radiator too. I need som magic or something.

Ugh. That sucks. It's 4 bolts and a friend to pull the hood. Since you cracked the neck on your radiator, go ahead and get the new one spec'd for the supercharged engine. It's like $80 on Rock Auto but it's a double row instead of the stock single row. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Yeah, #6 sucks big. Some people have had shops do their plugs, and then find #6 was never done. I've done it 3 times, and it is absolutely doable without a bl or removing the hood, but it sucks. Took a 9" extension, u joint, then a 6" extension.
