Sliders

Could anyone possibly give me a list of reputable companies that sell sliders for a 1st gen? They seem to be a lot harder to find than other armor like bumpers and such. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough

AC is shrockworks sliders. I have a set that I picked up used. Worked out great.

If you have welding skills...sure, get the trail gear sliders and fabricate the bolt on mounts...or have someone else do it. It isn't overly complicated, but it is tedious getting all angles perfectly 90 degrees and bolt holes lining up right. A price can be paid as a nice substitute for someone else having figured out the jigs for reliable placement.

To get the function of a slider, really, you can get by with a plain single tube like the Calmini ones. Additional bends, tubes, kick outs, plating, etc is mostly aesthetics (OK, a kick out can be argued as useful). Those features just add cost, operations (more bends, cutting, welding), and complexity.

I've got Rocky Road Outfitters sliders and love them, they are beefy and fit good. I went with the super sliders for the kickout "step" but it's not much of a step, I really wish it came out a little further but other than that they are top notch. And they were local to me so that's a bonus

I had rocky road super sliders on my truck also. Loved those things, the saved my drivers side door from major damage when I slid the truck off the road. The price wasn't bad and the cx service was awesome. I had them at my door in like 2.5 or 3 weeks after order.

The nice thing about the rocky roads is you do manage to dent them they'll send you a new set no questions ask
