Rubicon sway bar swap

So on my way to a wedding in the mountains of colorado I was told that there would be some light offroading... I spent alot of the drive with tires off the ground. So I have deside that I need quick a disconnect sway bar. Same trip my freind (the groom) was showing off his rubicon with the electric swaybar and I want one. I would remove the electric controlls and change to air controlled since I am already building a oba for tires and air lockers. Has anybody swapped jeep sway bars on? I am going to go take some mesuments of the rubicon swaybar and the xterra swaybar and see what would need to be done for endings.

When I got close to considering something like that I ended up just removing them both. The rear in 2005, and the front about six years ago. Never have missed them, and I still drive it to work every day as well as tow with it, like cross country tow with it.

I drive around with none on. Best decision of my life. so much more travel, and you learn how to drive with body roll... which is alot of fun!

My wife hates riding in my truck in general, tire noise, headers, lack of sway bars, lift and armor.. kind of rounds it all out

I hope you've already removed the rear one. Because it's garbage. I don't know that you'd have the room for the disconnect for the sway bar. You won't really miss the front bar if you upgrade to the HD torsion bars.

She loves the xterra becaus you can hear the person in the seat next to you. The 4runner ran the exhaust right out the sides of the hood and with the doors off we had to use headsets to talk, hear the stereo or use the cb radio on the highway

My wife falls asleep just about every trip that we do in the X, She just thinks that it is rediculous, the fact that it is actually titled in her name, and there is a skull on the tire carrier is just that much better.

Years ago she named it subtle, because it is just like me, quiet, unassuming, kind of just blends into the background.
