Roof Rack Bed Box?

Hello,
Has anyone ever heard of or seen someone put a truck bed box on the stock roof rack? Im looking for some enclosed storage on my roof

I don't know about a gen 1 but I know someone that did it on a gen 2. I think they built it into an aftermarket roof rack. The only difference would to be dealing with the width. I wish I could remember who it was because I'm sure you could steal a lot of ideas.

I would be using one of the boxes that have the overhangs on each side. I was thinking of having the box backside flush up against the factory basket. I figured that way would look the cleanest. Then i would drill a couple holes on the underside of both over hangs and use U-Bolts thru there to hold it on the roof rack. Sorry if this doesnt make sense
