After rebuilding the front end of my X I didn't have the brake pads installed correctly(I know a rookie mistake). I went to go for a test drive and the ABS light came on. I have since re-installed the brake pads and everything is great other than the ABS light is still on. I even unplugged the battery to try to get it reset. Does the dealer have to reset it or?

It'll reset after a few driving cycles after the error is cleared. Pull the code to find out what the real problem was.

I'm still with out a phone, it got stolen when my car was jacked. So, it will be a couple of days before I can pull the code.

Can't use an obd ready for this one, you short two pins on the plug, turn the car on and count the blinks

O I see, thanks I'll let you know what I find. I'll assume that there is a list of these codes on this forum somewhere.
