I recently bought a gently used raingler upper haf devider net from somebody on TNX. was installing it this am and started asking myself if people have added footman loops to the C pillar plastic to mount the net instead of having the net angled back to the side roof tied downs. anybody ever done this ?

if so what did you us to attach the footman loops?

I remember seeing someone who installed the footman loops but I don't recall if it was for behind the driver or behind the back seat. I would Remove the plastic and make sure there is nothing behind it and then install the footman to the metal. This would be much stronger then to the plastic. Since I don't feel like doing this work I just did it the way you did.

It has been done and imo it's not worth the trouble. You have to add a piece of pvc pipe between the plastic and the metal of the a-pillar and then a long screw. I've had my net up for quite a while without the footman loops and can't complain. I will complain that the plastic on the a-pillar never went back to normal haha.
