(First off I wasn't sure where to place this question, so Mods feel free to move it to where it should be directed)

I want to pvc shrink wrap my firestick antenna. Pink of course! ;)
My question is, will this play with my transmission to/from the antenna?

I think MDPhoneix has done his in yellow, but I'm not sure if its wire wrap or pvc shrink wrapped he used.

Wire wrap would make a difference but I think what you have in mind should be fine. You just don't want to use anything with any kind of metallic content.

Makes sense. Seeing its just PVC it should be a-okay!

And an added bonus I just realized that the Neon Pink color I am going to order..... GLOWS IN THE DARK! I'm a little bit excited about this. lol

So yesterday the pink pvc wrap was delivered. However, its too narrow to fit over the firestick antenna. Im wondering if i get it warmed up and if i soap up the antenna if i can kinda force it to work. If not i found hot pink gaffers tape that ill have to order.

Quick side note has anyone ever had there channels come in as static cause there was ice on the antenna?

Yep. Usually if you just clear the ice off of all the metal at the base and the mount it will clear up. The ice is just barely conductive enough to cause interference in some cases.
