Why not go with some fox?

I love fox shocks, but there is not a really good option for the Titan swap. Radflo makes a Titan swap shock that is longer. That way you do not need spacers just to make them work.

Yeah. That's another reason. A shock that is purpose built for the Titan swap.

Another answer would be with another question to akuria: why didn't you go with KING coilovers? $$$? Yeah, that too. Fox is very proud.

Spoke with Mark over at Shrock last week. Skids are done and packed. Front bumper just came back from powder coat and getting final inspection and packed this week and rear bumper is going to powder coat this week. So in like two weeks I'll be all armored out.
Congrats!!!

Step one complete.

Only minor frame clearencing required due to body lift. And both of the captive nuts for the inward attachment points broke off inside the frame. So I'm only bolted in by the three big bolts at the end of the frame. I'm trying to decide if I need to address that or not.

It's too damn hot to do more right now. But I need to mount the swing arm tonight so can mount the plate and take my kids to daycare tomorrow morning.

And while I'm glad that they thought of a provision for this.....because I was anticipating cutting a hole in the bumper to accept it. This thing is just begging to get ufcked up.

One thing I am doing different..... This chrome POS. No. Just no.

I will modify the hole on the bumper to accept the stock license plate light. I thought that was one of the most clever things that shrock did on the 1st gen bumper. And on this they include a chrome piece of shiat. No. That's not going on my truck.

The hole is a little crooked. But what do you want from a rotozip.

Painted for corrosion resistance.

With the housing in, you can't really tell that it's crooked.

I mean. A little.

I filled the other light with some OSI Quad to prevent short circuits.

Zip tied the wire up to the inside of the bumper.

And anchored the line to the swing arm so that it stays put.

Stainless stingers FTW.

And it's a perfect fit on the closed swing arm.

Lastly here are some closeups of the relief cuts I had to make on the frame to fit the bumper. This is a must for the 2" body lift. I remember having the same issue with another guys shrock after the body lift.
