New xterra!

Test Drive
Well, I suppose I'll introduce myself. My wife just inherited a 2002 xterra from her grandmother with ~87,000 miles, dealer serviced with records for all services (so much paperwork!). The truck has some 'grandma dings', including a nice hemispherical dent on the right front bumper, a slight bend in the lower bar of the cow-catcher, some scratches on the sides, and somehow scratches running vertically on the rear hatch door. Whatever incident caused this seems to have also caused a dent right where the rear washer fluid sprayer nozzle is, and tore it out as well.

I'm sure I'll have a few more questions as I progress. For instance, the rear sprayer does not spray (the hose it still inside the door). Possible motor/pump or fuse? Might just replace rear door if it is not too much work.

Anyway, now the pics.

Here she is:

And I just finished her first mod, a rear-wiper-sprayer delete:

Welcome to the nation from Canada.

Hope you find the info you need and are looking for. A lot of the how to's lost their photos recently with Photobucket deaciding to start charging for their hosting photos. But people here are working to get everything back up as best as they can.

Welcome to XN!

The rear sprayer is powered by a separate pump that the front one. So it's entirely possible that the pump is bad and the front sprayer still works. Easiest fix is to replace the entire washer fluid bottle as they all come with new pumps. And they're like $50 on rock auto.
