New work

So I've been doing some work in my shop for two 1st Gen Xs. I had one for a few weeks to design this new bumper and then the next one came in shortly after. So I had two pro-types going at the same time. I had them both almost finished up and installed at the same time but had some minor problems. But those are fixed and one is completed and mounted. And to say the least he loves it. I'm just waiting for pics of it with the tire on carrier.

So basically I made a bumper for the 1st Gen that have the corner guards built in with dual swing arm. Tire on side and fuel can on the other.

Here's the pics. Once I get some more I'll post those up too.

Very cool! I've never understood why more rear bumper designers for 1st gens don't incorporate the corners into the bumper. At the very least, make it an option or something. That's why I love CaptMorgan's so much

It makes it a little harder to put on with corner built in and a little harder to build. But I think it looks way better and will work better this way.

And here's the 1st bumper. All done minus a couple bolts that needs to be changed out.

I believe shipping would cost more than the materials and your time from CA to OH

That looks pretty damn sharp, this is why I'm tying my P&P corners into the bumper. Looks slick all one piece though

Freight shipping really isn't too much. And we could always work something out ;)
