Just added my keyless entry touchpad I recovered from the old X before I traded it. Good thing, too, cause those things are damn near impossible to find these days.

Just saw this...wth?

You had responded so quickly when I first posted this thread that my second "reserved" post was after your post. I had asked if a mod could move it up, didn't know they'd have to delete your post. But no worries, I had quoted you and answered before they deleted it. :)

I would say I'm like a ninja, but that's played...

it's all good! I now remember thinking that when I saw your reserved post I'd blown up your spot!

Got my bumper from Maxterra in yesterday, and finally got around to uncrating it this morning so I could bolt it up. I gotta say, all the pictures I've seen on the forum do not do Dave's craftsmanship justice. This thing is a work of art. The powdercoat is excellent as well. Hell, even the packing crate was well made. It blew away all my expectations. If you guys need a bumper, with or without a tire carrier, Dave's your man!

Here it is all bolted up. If you have air tools, it's a one man job, but I still recommend a helper. A concrete floor and a creeper would have been nice too. :)

Now I just need to run to my dealer and pick up my trailer harnesses.

Also installed my Volant yesterday.

Yeah, I think next weekend is gonna be fun. I just got another Pro-4x guy from TNX to tag along, so we'll have 2 first gens and two 2nd gens, so far. I'd like to get some more. Too bad Peck can't make it.

I replaced the crappy aluminum positive battery terminal with a heavier duty brass marine terminal. Probably not necessary, but it gives me a little piece of mind for a very minimal price. I think it was like $3 at O'Reilly.

Got something interesting in the works. Stay tuned.

OK. So, my idea to put my Rigid Dually spots in the OR light pods on the roof is beyond my current technical capabilities. The idea isn't dead, but to do it right will take more than just a simple bolt in adapter, and sadly, it won't be commercially viable. Instead I put the lights in the bumper mouth opening. Which would have been way easier with a right angle drill and a short step bit. Instead I had to take the whole bumper apart. I still need to adjust the passenger side light inboard a bit to match the driver side, but I think they look great in this spot.

And I have the added bonus of having the roof lights and these. Now I just need to get my switch in from OTRATTW.

As soon as it gets dark. :D

I just finished wiring it up, temporarily using the switch that came with it, and adjusting the passenger side light so they both look the same distance from the edges of the mouth. I think they look fantastic in that spot, much better than I expected. They're bright enough that I can see them shining on my forklift in the daylight.

Ignore the watermark. I need a new video editor.

Dude those are wicked bright! I hadn't seen any actions shots on them so you definitely solidified me using them as backup lights.

You could seriously get away with just one as a backup light. They are really bright; the video doesn't do them justice.

They are gonna be angled off to the sides to act as partial side lights as well. I will however use that advice for the red pair I was gonna get for brake lights.

Looks awesome! I got the same lights and have fun messing with people by only using them at night at times, haha!

I just replaced this tag lamp:

It used to be clear, but it's not sealed, so water from the car wash got in it and rusted the circuits. Got another one from Amazon. I don't particularly like the chrome base, but I didn't think to swap it with the black one until I was almost done. I sealed this one with clear RTV and let it set overnight before wiring it up today.

Doesn't look like much in the daylight, but at night, it's very bright. I don't even know if the one I took off was still functioning, so anything is an improvement. Hopefully I'll never have to mess with it again.
