So I have a problem, while driving my engine acts like it is bogging down. I will loose power then instantly get it back but it is continous. I got a scanner on Saturday and the only code that it is pulling is the knock senor I'm non-supercharged so not worried about that. I changed my fule filter on Saturday and that did not help either. I just don't know what else it would be. If it was the distributor wouldn't just stop working?

first gens are not bad to change, the less fuel in the tank the better. The hard part is that you can't actually see what you are doing, it is all muscle memory. The pump itself snaps into a plastic bracket in the bottom of the tank. the access panel is under the rear passenger seat.

Another question where is the best place to tie into the fuel system to pressure test it?

Do you know how to read the reports from obd scanner? On one line it is saying short term fuel trim rail 2 sensor 2 is at 99.2 that is way higher than the rest.

so after some research i decided to monitor my o2 sensors using the torque pro app and it the #1 sensor on bank one ad 2 was giving some nice peaks and valleys the readings. now when i went to read the #2 sensors for both banks they were almost flat lined with an occasional minor peak.

After texting my brother we think I figured out one problem. After trying to recharge my ac a few weeks ago the problem started happening. He told me to disconnect the AC condenser and go for a drive; it was perfectly fine. He told me to check to see if the condenser was locked up which it was not so now I have to go from there. It was doing this even when the AC was not running.

Oh he also told me that the problem with Bank 1 &2 sensor 2 is most commonly caused by the injectors of distributor.

Well I done some stuff (can't specify what) but it is running good so far. I was able to put my fuse back in and it is driving like normal for now. It is now time to get my steering fixed and finish my lift.
