Hey everyone, thought I'd throw a quick update at this thread.
The new job is going pretty well, one more week and I'll have my 30-day follow up with my manager and find out what the general consensus is on my performance so far, but all signs seem to say they'd like to keep me. They're putting me on some pretty involved jobs and everyone seems pleased with the work I've done, so that's cool.
My job performance isn't really the main subject of this post though, but rather, I want to really say thank you to my Xterra family. To everyone who helped out financially, you helped me put food on my family's table and keep the roof over our heads, and for that I am forever grateful. To everyone who kept me in their thoughts and/or prayers, my knowing that you were doing so helped me keep my head up and believe in myself when I otherwise didn't, and for that I am also forever grateful. It truly is amazing to learn that so many "strangers" are willing to come to the aid of somebody they only know through a computer screen.
Now that I finally have a steady income again and that we finally got our tax return, I'll be able to start repaying you. Some of you would rather I just pay it forward, which I will happily do. My main focus is going to be repaying the members of XterraNation, and once you're paid off I'll be on the lookout for fellow XN'ers who need some help as I'd like to keep this generosity within XterraNation.
