I like the look of that first one...looks clean and not as gnarly as a normal quad rail. YHM makes something similar but not EXACTLY that.
I didn't see the name of a manufacturer on either...did you? (Looking from my phone)
Dang not sure how I missed this. I recently put a troy bravo FF rail, ill see if I can find some pictures for you to help you out. Ill take a look at the link in the second one also and see what it says.
Edit: I took a look at it. Does it mount to the existing barrel nut or does is come with one you have to install yourself? Also, will you be removing the gas block? If you are, is it pinned or does is use a set screw? If you remove the gas block the front piece that holds normal handguards to the gun slides right off. For the delta ring I wrapped the areas of my gun around it with towels and tape, then used a dremel to slowly cut through the delta ring in two spots- 180* from each other. I used a screwdriver to pry it off because I didn't get all the way through. For the spring under the delta ring I used my dremel to cut it in one spot and then pliers to twist/pull the rest of it off. It was a lot easier than it seems. I was scared at first but am glad I did it myself.
There's my delta ring, spring, and naked upper.
Ahh Yess. If it has it's own barrel nut then everything will slide off, no cutting. My troy rail mounted to my existing barrel nut so I had to cut the delta ring and spring off- or take the barrel nut off to get those off then install it again. So I took the easy way out and cut.

I see you have a government profile barrel sir, nice...
Thank you! I like it, it suits my needs.
As for the troy not having it's own barrel nut- it comes with these:
What happens is you loosely attach them to the rail, when you slide the rail on the nuts slide under the existing barrel nut and are stopped by the lip on the nuts. I used my carry handle sight Attached to the flat top and rail to keep it perfectly aligned while torqued down the bolts evenly. I was worried it would not be string enough at first, but after research I found a ton of people with troy rails that have been abused in carbine classes and other things with no problems. So I'm not worried about it moving or falling off.
Hm, the trx series alphas are new barrel nut...
TRX series, yes. The regular battlerail alpha and bravo use the existing barrel nut. Centurion, Midwest industries, Samson, I believe some Daniel defense, and a few other brands all have rails that can be used with the existing barrel nut.
Interesting....I'm not sure I could fully trust that style...
