A lot can happen over two years.

True, but it's mostly been a garage queen.

Series of events:

Battery dead, new one installed (Duralast).
Alternator lights come on, find the battery dead.
Battery charged back up at the store and put back in.
Truck starts fine, then dies in the driveway ten minutes later.
Battery taken back to the store and the guy says "it's bad" and gives me a brand new one (also Duralast).
New alternator purchased and installed (new Nissan equivalent).
Truck starts fine, then dies in the driveway ten minutes later.
Get one of those battery / alternator checkers and the battery is "good" and the alternator is "bad."

Not having great luck with this battery / alternator situation. All connections are good. Double checked the ground to the truck and it's solid.
Any suggestions? Obviously pulling the alternator and replacing it (again), but is there anything obvious that I'm missing?

I just had to replace mine a couple of days ago, and it was less than a year old. some Tenn. mud might have had a little to do with it.. But that is why I keep a spare in the garage.

Update to this. Need some help because it's getting frustrating.

Left off with a brand new alternator and brand new battery. Truck still dies after 10 minutes. Lights come up on the dash.
Little battery / alternator checker thing says battery is good and alternator is bad.
Take both out and bring them to the store. Both check out as good, solid, no issues. Guy even checks both twice and shows me the results.
So if both check out fine, all connections are good, other end of the alternator ground is solid, what am I missing?
