Thanks guy's so quick update again... Had awesome bit of luck lately, a friend of mine ordered 35/12.50R17 Toyo Rough Terrain's about 3 months ago, and thought they just never got ordered but they just showed up until this week and well he had decided to go 37's so he told them no he didn't want them but then realized I have been hassling him about these tires for the last few days so I got my tires :)

It's crazy too because from my understanding they are on national back order! I asked about getting a spare and Justin at Fat Bob's tracked down 1! Seriously they had 1 left! :D

Honestly I debated for the last several months on getting the Toyo R/T's or the BFG KO2's and I love how wide and square they are!

Mud flaps are temporary (got a warning from an officer)

And yes they do need quite a bit of trimming but I'll be aiming for that tomorrow

I tell you man, you have got the sexiest nicest rig I've ever seen. All the mods are very tasteful and not gotty. That color really makes it too

Yours is hands down my favorite Xterra of all time. I hope one day to have the Metallic Blue equivalent or your green monster.

Thanks guys, well here's the pics I posted on my instagram and facebook but have not updated yet. This is after two days of driving without trimming (turn anymore then 2 o'clock or 10 o'clock and crunch!)

It had already been slightly dented from my 34's but this definitely did worse
_DSC2302.jpg~original

Yeah it ruined my paint

Driver side

Original intended trim, I moved it up higher and much more smoothed out later
_DSC2319.jpg~original

It took me one and half day as I went slowly with a cut off wheel on a die grinder, the driver side for some reason though the paint flaked a lot more

Finished cut

Cleaned up the edge with sanding and then some touch up paint (which is lighter and can be seen very easy on driver side in person) then cleared coated over it

Driver side, you can kind of see where it's lighter on the edge

All trimmed up and now can finally turn! (Mudflaps and rear bumper are temporary, got a warning from an officer and rear bumper is currently being modified)

I really love these tires and lucked out, they are on national back order... I had been telling my buddy to get them ordered for me for several days now and he had ordered some 3 or 4 months ago and thought they never actually got ordered so he just forgot about them. They showed up and the guy called him to let him know but he had already decided to move to 37's on his X so he let me buy them instead!

I asked about getting a spare tire and he called around and found one the exact size I needed! They only had one in stock so I really lucked out!

The tires are awesome! Looks like a mudterrain but sound and road manners it feels like an all terrain... Exactly what I wanted! (No an all terrain will still get better gas mileage and still less road noise although these are relatively quiet.)

Wow. That's a good save. Sucks about the buckling. But the way you cut it and finished it out looks like it was supposed to be that way.

Thanks guys! Quick update got my back bumper, it was kind of a rush this weekend as I am going to be heading to Easter Jeep Safari this week to photograph the event so I needed it on. Once I get back I have some modifications to do and welding before I re-powdercoat it and get ready for goneMOAB.

It's a Max Gear Armor bumper with a few modification incase you are wondering...

So I went down to EJS but didn't do too many runs on the trail. Kind of took pictures of everyone else's vehicles but did get just a couple quick ones before we hit Hell's Revenge so I figured I would post them up.

The rigid industries amber and white dualies are only temporary and I am selling them but I wired them up for this trip so I could get some pictures of them.

I did tag one of my fenders slightly with 35's so I am planning on some air bump stomps on front now

I have a few more night shots I'll post tonight

MAN! really love your X! Wish I could have made it to EJS this year but Nxterra just isn't ready...next year for sure. Hope to see you and everyone else at GoneMoab this year.

Alex, do you have a CAD file of that interior switch plate that you'd be willing to share? Or did you more or less shape and mill it from measurements taken by hand? If you had a CAD file you could load it up to Shapeways.com and people could buy custom 3D-printed copies of it (they do 3d printing in plastic and metal!), and you'd make a cut from each one sold.

Also, if I admit my truly selfish reasons, I really want one in plastic, painted metallic blue to match my X. :D
