Im still very much in the planing stages. But I think after the holidays pass by I should be able to start the hunt for parts.

Really good looking truck.

Just do it!! :) Its not hard to do and if you get this stuff that i wanna say armor all make for the wheels it will keep them cleaner longer with all the brake dust and stuff that will try and stick to the wheels

I really dig it. Shoot, you even did the roof rack - kudos on a nice concept! I like the latest pics with the top (black) light covers on, too - makes for a good contrasting accent. Really good looking rig!

One awesome rig you've got there bro. To bad we couldn't link up on the way to nXm; but I totally understand the distance you would have had to drive.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! Its slowly coming to where I want my rig to be. Yea it does suck I wasn't able to make it out for nXm but that would have been one drive that's for sure

The key is prep work. If you sand it alittle clean it and prime it before painting it will come out great. Take your time and you'll be happy with the end result

After breaking the 100,000 mile mark I changed the oil change and I took the hood and did some painting. Also I changed the rear diff oil and painted the stock diff cover cause I was bored lol.

Ha I love that you got bored and thus decided to paint. I have done this many times. Soon though, you run out of things to paint. :)

So I did some rework to my rear shelf thing. Instead of lock nuts or normal nuts I changed them out for wing nuts. Now i don't need tools to take this out when I need to so much easier. Heres the pics. If you wanna know more just let me know

Like the wing nut idea, it will be so much easier to deal with now.

Thanks it works out so much better now

So how has the white held up as far as cleaning it? Is it anywhere near as white now as it was when you first sprayed it?

The white as held up pretty well. Cleaning it is just like the regular paint. I have some black starting to come out from trail damage and bug guts sitting on the X for a little while when I make my runs between Yuma and San Diego. The only hard thing to keep clean is the wheels but with a good wheel cleaner and the that armoral wheel spray stuff they do pretty good.

Well at least you still have your since of Yuma about it.

Okay, sorry I just couldn't resist that joke. I remember driving through there as a 15 year old and seeing a big old billboard sign saying "Where's your since of Yuma" on the side of the highway.
