I just recent picked up a rock river arms lar-15 car4 with a fixed style a2 stock. The fixed stock fits me fine but is a little long for my wife to shoot. So Im gonna swap it out for collapsible stock. I know I need to change out the buffer tube and decide whether or not I wanna do a mil-spec or commercial spec. Question is I pick up this kit, link below

Will I be able to swap on whatever magpul stock I decide to go with? Or if anybody can recommend another kit I'll go that direction

thanks

That is the ar 15 kit. The 308 requires a shorter buffer. I have a DPMS LR 308 with a magpul moe collapsible stock that I would be willing to trade for the fixed stock if the Rock River and DPMS are interchangeable.

Where'd you get 308 from, bud? LoL. That RR is 5.56.

Stick with mil-spec sizing on the stock/buffer tube. There are way more options for mil than there are commercial. Not entirely sure why there's even a commercial size, cause I don't know anyone that uses it.
