Random question. How reliable is the 500? Ive never known anyone that has had one, and this has been a question on my mind for a while. I really do like them, been looking for one myself actually

I love my little 500. Its snappy and fun to drive. As for reliability so far it's been fine. There's a couple electrical issues with mine and is a general issue but all the issues are minor and easy to fix.

The abarth was so much fun to drive too. 160hp in a car that small. It was crazy fast and loud. Just the mpg was around 28mpg and we wanted 40mpg so that's why we went down to the sport non turbo.

Good to know, I just want something halfway reliable that is still fun to drive. My X is great except that heinous mileage it gets. I feel like maybe end of the year I will be in a position to buy another vehicle

I hear yah. Love my X to death but that mpg...what's nice about the fiat is that it's smaller than the Mini Cooper but has more interior room. It's a well thought out little car and, at least over here in the Bay Area, it's a super popular car. They are cheap but have lots of options like leather heated seats and dual climate control. Also the manuals have hill assist. Also for an Italian car they are pretty well built IMO. nothing feels loose or cheaply put together.

I could only imagine how popular they are in San Fran area, I can find them for around 8.5k in the denver area.
