So I just had a thought, but when I go from my stock tire size of 265/74/16 and change to 285/75/16, would the speedometer on my car need to be adjusted or no?

At this time there is no adjustment for the speedo in the cluster. On Bullydog you can increase the percentage for the unit itself but it does not change the gauge. A few scanners/tuners have said it is in the works for their products but I have not seen it as of yet.

Plus the current speedo is set for the pro4x so you have always been 3% off so it really doesn't mess you up but a mph or so

On the 2005+ X's, the DEALER has a machine that plugs in and can reprogram for up to 33" tires...

and the 285/75/16 and 305/70/16 are 33" tires.

For example, Brian at Cherry Hill Nissan came to a mod day with it over here, and reprogrammed some rigs for 33's.

He also did some timing advances, etc.

Its not an option for 2000 - 2004 X's though.

FWIW, I went from the stock pro4x tires, to 285s, and my GPS says I'm only about 1mph off at 80mph. The slower the speed, the less the difference.

The ratio of error is the same, but the same percentage of a smaller number, is smaller.

So if I were to go into a Nissan dealer and say that I need need things adjusted because I have a 33" tire now, they are able to do it? Do you know if all the Nissan dealers can do this or no?

They SHOULD BE ABLE TO...a dealership w/o the computer would flounder.
