It's not officially dead yet

... But if it is.

They may say it's dead and who knows, it could be gone for a little while. Look at hummers, they've been dead for a little while and if I'm not mistaken, they're trying to bring them back from the grave. Who knows what lies in store.

From nissan. Its offical.

Xterra, one of the boldly designed vehicles that helped reinvigorate the Nissan brand at the beginning of the century, will go out of production after a highly successful 15-year run... The Nissan Xterra has completed its current production cycle. After more than 750,000 Xterras sold since its introduction as a model year 2000 vehicle, the last Xterra will be sold in the fall of 2015.
I am in for whatever creepy designs.

Being that it's commemorative, what if you did a picture similar to tje south east club sticker but have the X's from first gen, to the new front end 2nd..so four total X's lined up across rocks and then some sort of "2000-2015" text with whatever else?

Thanks guys.

We have a few designs that we are playing with, but it's put on hold for a few days, because we are out fighting fires and helping with evacuations here right now. I spent most of the day making fire lines with the back hoe, and dropping trees. level 3 evacuation right now.

Yep, it's been a crazy day, that's for sure. I'm still so pumped up on adrenaline, lol. I love it. We are kind of just in a waiting pattern right now, just monitoring everything from a safe distance through the night. If the winds pick up like they say, we might be screwed. Time will tell.

The real pros are on it now. The high winds yesterday didn't help any though. They are at 8% containment as of now. 32,000 acres burned so far. We are still here holding back, just in case we have to go back in.

Yes, we finally got some cooler weather and some much needed rain yesterday. The real firefighters now have the fire about 55% contained. It's up to 65,000 acres burned so far. We are still under level 2 evacuation, but we are back to working in the shop most of the time. We're now just playing major catch up for a few more days, lol.

Just letting everybody know. The fires took crazy priority for a bit, but we are back on this project again. (keep in mind we can only work on it in between building and shipping customer orders.)

That's a good question, lol. I let each one of my guys come up with their own design concept (kind of a little contest) and then I'd pick my favorite from there. I haven't seen anything come across my computer yet though. I'm glad you reminded me, I better rattle their cage a bit and see what they have so far, lol.

There must be something strange about building these decals, lol. Ever time I get started on them, there is a major catastrophic thing that happens here.

So, a couple hours after my last post, we had a huge crazy wind storm come through that pretty much wiped the power grid and internet off the map in our city, lol. You may have seen it on the news. They say it may be 10-14 days before we have power again and could be several weeks before the internet is back up. Luckily the cell service is up sometimes here and there, so we can check emails and such once in awhile, lol. Although, it crazy slow and over loaded. It looks like some zombie apocalypse out there right now. 3/4 of the city is without power still. We just now got out backup generators online, we have minimal power, but we can at least build and ship some orders. It's just me here though, I told all my guys to just stay home with their families. It's getting down in the low 20s at night, so keeping the family and the pipes from freezing is tricky, lol.
