From reading the DNA ones are the better of the eBay headers, but no matter which, inspect the welds for cracks prior to installing them. Some dont come with an EGR plug too.

The most commonly reported issues there were Cracked welds, warped faces, improper hole sizes, too short. So just take a look at them, because lots of people have used them, they just inspect them prior to installing. Obviously Doug Thorley are the top shelf option, but are also 5x the price I guess.

For $136-188, might be worth a gamble.

Compared to the US$450 Doug Thorley headers they are worth a gamble I think. If you get them and they look like shiat, PayPal will give you your money back.

@OffRdX if you were to start your roof rack build over again, what would you change in the way you built it?
Mount it differently. I made separate footings for each leg. If I built another I would make one for each side, then bolt the rack to the footings. Mine basically can't come off because I am not willing to wrestle it back on. I would look at getting a wrecked X with the roof still intact so I could have it for a jig on a table.

Overall I love my roof rack. I don't put anything up there but it worked well for the lights. It is also nice having Jeep peeps ask me where I bought it.

if I am going to be building more then one that a that would be a good idea for the roof. but for a one of not sure that would make it cost effective

plus what did you use to make the bends ? did you go out and buy a tube bender just for that project?
ya I bought the bender from harbor freight. It works pretty good. I have since gotten ahold of a nicer one though and they are night and day. The harbor freight one will work for that project though.
