Wow. A 125? That's tiny! That probably wouldn't even push my fat ass around. Heh.

Ive seen videos of some pretty fluffy dudes cruising on them. Im about 150-160lbs and it gets to 45mph pretty quick, but getting past 50-55 I had to be in full tuck and pegged out at 4th gear

Kinda obsessed with my grom, been riding it all week and only drove the X twice for short runs. But today I washed the bike and went out for a couple rides. Ordered a few things for a the grom so starting next week I will start its own build picture thread

The famous Alex Racine aka Kuma was posting pictures from Gone Moab 2017 and I managed to be in one of them next to Jenn's Fronty!IMG_8574.JPG

Anyways, Im working on sourcing out a few more of the SAS parts that I need so hopefully I can start putting things together in the next few months

I'm going to try bypassing the ABS system (removing it) and see how that feels first. The OEM MC on our truck is pretty beefy.

Increasing the bore size to push fluid through all of my unused ABS valving seems like it might be a waste of time. My thought is why not try deleting the restriction first.

If it doesn't help the old Dodge MC is cheap, easy to find and swap.

If you do that make sure you document it! I wonder if getting rid of all that extra line would actually improve the brakes like you are thinking

So I did the ABS delete;

Some copper line, six fittings, a “T” and a union. Bled for days…it’s better but still feels spongy.

Is there any detailed install of ‘94 dodge ram brake MC swap you spoke of?

I’d like to know if it really is a direct swap. Do you know if I’d need to add a proportioning valve to the system?

I might bite the bullet and spring for a Wilwood MC that I have seen work. Drawback would be the hefty price…

I havent yet. Im on hold until my bank account is sufficient enough to order the king coilovers up front. I may now get anything done until spring with as harsh as our winters get here

These are the ones I can make out
silicon%20hoses.jpg

The small L in the middle is probably PCV to the intake for bank 2. The two short thin ones may be coolant lines at the back of the intake; there's a couple there that are an absolute bitch to get at. I have no clue on the long thin one. It almost looks like bulk extra, but the wall is so thick on it.

Automatic transmission fluid.

...this is why there should be a packing list with each shipment.

Been sick since saturday night so in my downtime I have been cruising the webs. Progress will be made shortly on a few things. Ordered new RuggedRocks motor mounts to fix my destroyed driver side and then swap the pass side out for a fresh one. I also ordered the Walker B-pipes to replace my secondary cats and I will be fully catless. Hopefully I will notice small gains all around between opening up the exhaust and holding the motor in place I should be losing alot less of the driveline loss of HP. 2 new tires to replace the dead bald ones from when my centerlink decided to go limp in moab.

just small things but its progress I have been putting off....

are you going to have the SAS done for GONE?

I can't go this year. I have to be at a wedding.

I hope you can make it to WENT. I'll be at there (as usual)

Im gonna be in same position, my sister is getting married a week before Gone. Between the SAS, school, and the wedding I will have trouble getting to Gone this year unfortunately.

The goal right now is to get the rig finished locked and SAS for Went. 2500mile round trip so I need to make the rig bulletproof

Hell yeah. Those look awesome.

Slowly over the next month or two I will be trying to get the rest of the hoses put in as well. Should really make this engine bay pop!

I will say they do not disappoint, I am very happy with the fit even with my sorta unique setup

Also quick note on the topic of the silicone hoses. If you scroll up to Maudeeb's post the ones labels for intake to pcv and bank 1 to pcv those 2 hoses are actually replacement hoses for the heater core as are the other little short straight ones. I found that out by looking on rockauto today and comparing them to the OEM ones currently on the truck. Essentially this kit is entirely for coolant hoses and not for vacuum lines or anything oil related

Ha! I knew the pipe look familiar!

Not for nothing bro but you and I seem to be working on (fixing) our trucks on a similar schedule.

I just gathered the parts to do the same thing after I noticed the heat from the rear cat was melting the rubber protective cover on my brand new front drive shaft.

I got the Walker tubes from Summit Racing.

The studs and nuts in the forward cats look pretty toasty so even though I’ve been PB blasting them I got some new along with the ring gasket.
I also needed to buy a T10 socket for the studs. I did not have one.

I’ve been PB blasting all the studs, bolts, nuts and the O2 sensors for weeks now, praying this comes apart without too much pain and waiting for a full day to attack it.

Got by motor mounts in today! Driver side was a bitch and a half but I got it with only 1 broken socket. Passenger side took me 15minutes and no broken tools. While I was under the rig I did my oil change which was about 2300miles overdue. It was a touch burnt but nothing to worry about

I may have roped in a killer deal on a brand new ARB for the D44 as well as an axle rebuild kit. If this is the case my coilovers will have to wait another month until I can afford them. Slow but steady progress

Did a Toys 4 Tots toy drive put on by Mile High Jeep Club and they were doing flex/travel testing both forklift and CTI trailer. I managed 36.5 rear 45 front and a CTI of 580
