Lived in Italy for several years. Pineapple is fine if that's your thing but nothing and I do mean nothing compares to,salsiccia and friarelli made with mozzarella di bufala. Basically a white pizza made with buffalo mozzarella with sausage and brocoli raab

Pizza of the gobbles.
I'd eat that.

I'm sorry. Did you just say that broccoli was a pizza topping?

Ya know, it occurs to me that for an Xterra forum, I sure haven't talked about trucks much.

Question for y'all...I Am Not A Mechanic. Nor do I play one on TV. Apparently I need to get the timing belt replaced on the 03 X. 137K miles. Because if I don't at some point the belt is going to snap and possibly damage the valves on the engine. Which means a new engine.

Spoke with a mechanic and he told me about 850. He said he does the complete kit and replaces the water pump as well. But while he's at it, likely going to need to replace coolant and other hoses and belts as well. So might as well do it at the same time. Upshot is probably $950 before the dust settles. Is that within reason?

I think it's high, but it may be good in your region. My mechanic does timing and water pump for about $500. Coolant is drained anyway so it has to be changed. Belts and hoses are extremely convenient at that time.

1) This is the whore thread. Sometimes we talk trucks. Most of the time we talk shiat.

2). I bought all my parts at the dealership. Was going to do it myself. Decided not to. Dealer charged me $750 labor. And I paid about 275 for all the parts. That was belt, water pump, gaskets, cam seals, the lot. But definitely get it done. You're running on borrowed time.

OK. Thanks for the advice. I'll get it taken care of soon.

Now back to other important shiat. Like favorite beers.

Mine is Scheiderweisse Hefe Weissen Tap 7. But LIDL has a very acceptable Hefe called Perlenbacher which is $10 for a 6 pack of half liter bottles. Oh and of course whatever beers my compadres are brewing up.

Saw the aftermath of a fatal semi accident on the road today. I know the driver didn't make it because the dash was where the driver seat is suppose to be.
