Another plus for the viper alarm system. My girlfriend has one on her crap box car she lives in the worst area in the city with the 10th highest crime in the nation. I can honestly say it has saved her more then a few times. One time a crack head broke her rear hatch glass with a circular saw of all things. Forcunately, it comes with speaker which you mount inside your house. If you arm the alarm or it goes off you hear it in the house and it will wake you up. Allowing it to be covered under your smith&weston home security system. Its rather sensitive to motion. We once tossed the keys over the roof, the keys fell short and landed on the roof the alarm went whaling. No doubt, it would go off if a tow truck bumped it. Really loud siren with changing pitch and tempo it will be heard. The circular saw crack head went running after the first impact to the glass as it instantly set the alarm off. My girlfriend awoke from her sleep as the speaker in her kitchen was whaling. Bright blue LED on the dash let's others know its protected. Its the system I should own but don't. I used to think they were gimmicks or don't reeally protect property. I mean how often does a car alarm go off like all the time. Its to the point where the public won't even look up anymore. But, if it let's the owner know that's key.
