Speaking of JKs, my business partner is one them. JKU Hard Rock Rubicon on 37s. JW Speaker every light, etc etc. Doesn't want to wheel on rocks because he doesn't want to break a $40k truck. Will go play in the mud. As long as it's not too deep. And if he ever got any trail rash, he'd be polishing and waxing for days.

Don't get me wrong, he's build it to be very capable. 4.88s, trussed and sleeved the axles. Proper long arm suspension lift, big brake kit. Etc. But he's afraid to actually use it. I think he'd have a heart attack if he went on an actual trail.

Also. One person said to box them. What does that mean. I'm a welder so if I can weld anything to them that would help strengthen them, I can do it.
The ball joints are good. But the arms can be sub-standard. So if you were to box all of the seams and maybe put some plate across the bottom, you'd end up with a much stronger LCA for less money.

Ok so I ordered some AcDelco professional control arms since they sound better than the Moog arms. So hopefully they are good! Why isn't anybody making some beefy bomb ass lower control arms?? Like Calmini makes serious upper control arms, which i got and am amazed, but yet they don't make lower control arms! I should maybe start making some lower control arms like the calmini. Who'd be interested?

I'm not sure why nobody makes lowers for the 1st gen. Maybe the concensus is that there doesn't need to be anything better than the OE arms. Which I never had any issues with. And I don't think I've ever seen a catastrophic failure like yours before.

There always seems to be some kind of market for 1st gen stuff. There aren't enough manufacturers supporting the older trucks.

I don't understand. Why you need that? Why Imgur account? Anon all the things.

I dunno. I thought for some reason an anon account would be limited. And once i figured out i was wrong, i was already 150 pics in. So i keep going. Each pic is also saved in a folder by thread on a flash drive if you want it when im done.

Breffus: rosemary potatoes cooked at 430 am added to eggs and peppers with salsa for breakfast burritos. And then coffee. Because coffee is for closers.

And it was still too early at 0630

Good, new guy. Good. Keep this up and you might earn a key to the liquor cabinet.

That's good. While I'm a noobiest of noobs, I want you to know that you can trust me to return both (1) your liquor cabinet AND (2) your new built X.

( 1- empty 2- as a pile of smoldering slag, but you CAN trust me!)
