Also, the smell. This was a smokers vehicle. It stinks in here. And getting rid of the seat covers will go a long way to remove the smell. And the burn in the driver's seat.

Stupid weather. Hindering my further progress. I've got the other seat bottom done. But the way its raining, I can't get out there and pull the other seat back. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.

It's the only way to key. No separate fob, small in the pocket, works perfectly with the immobilizer and central locking. Almost as good as having keyless start. But maybe one day.

Idk, the buttons only half worked and the lock would unlock and the unlock didn't work. I gave up after buying 2. Taking the key apart was easy and putting back together. It's possible I just happen to get a bad one or two.

Why did you take it apart?

So you were doing that to avoid having to have a new key programmed into the immobilizer? Doesn't seem worth it to me. Just pay a locksmith $30 and it works. The one I bought already has a transponder in it. Just needed to be learned into the system.

I believe that's what I was doing lol. Instead of having a new one programmed, I just put my chip in one and had the key cut

Easiest. Body lift. Evar.

Less than 5 hours. Had two stubborn bolts that had to be removed with the breaker bar the entire way out. Oddly it was the same mount on both sides. The one right behind the front wheels. I wonder if there's a design issue there.

I did have to use the new upper rad hose and I haven't finished reassembling the rear yet. And I probably won't put the corners back on until they've been painted, lit, and cup holdered.

Nice! Outta curiosity what kit? Nisstec?
Yeah. It's a good kit and got it on sale. Need to get the air saw out and trim the bottom of the stock bumper cover to make due until the shrock arrives. I couldn't get the drivers side of the front bumper cover attached due to the height difference.

You could rent one of those ozone generators they use at dealerships and rental car places to get the smell out. They work great

In fact, can you get better pictures of his front fenders? Because that looks really good. I'd be open to a cut like that.
